We handle every modern Samsung phone, from the entry-level Galaxy A series up to the flagship Galaxy Z Fold. The repair process is similar across models but the parts cost varies a lot. Foldables cost the most because the inner display is a flexible plastic OLED, not glass.
Galaxy S8, S9, S10, S20, S21, S22, S23, S24, S25 — all variants including Plus and Ultra models. Older models have curved edge displays. Newer models use flat displays with thinner bezels.
Galaxy Note 8, 9, 10, and Note 20 including Ultra. Samsung discontinued the Note line after Note 20, folding the S Pen into the Galaxy S Ultra. We still repair every Note model in active use.

The final number on your quote depends on four things. Your model. Whether the screen is AMOLED or basic LCD. If your phone uses an in-display fingerprint sensor. And whether the back glass or frame also took damage.
Samsung uses AMOLED on every flagship and most mid-range phones from 2018 onward. AMOLED costs more to replace than LCD because the display itself includes the touch layer, the digitizer, and the OLED pixels in one bonded unit.
Galaxy S8 through S22 used curved edge displays. These cost about 15 to 20 percent more to replace because the glass and OLED have to be manufactured to bend without breaking. Galaxy S23 onward switched to flat displays which are cheaper.
The inner foldable screen on Z Flip and Z Fold is the most expensive phone screen to replace, period. The flexible plastic OLED panel costs more to manufacture, more to ship, and requires more care to install.
A bad drop sometimes breaks the screen and the back glass and the frame. We test each before quoting. You approve any additional repairs before we add them to the bill.

Samsung phones use specific display technology and sensors that need careful handling during a repair. Here is what matters most.
AMOLED means every pixel produces its own light — there is no backlight behind the screen like LCD has. The result is deeper blacks, more vivid color, and better outdoor visibility. Replacement screens have to match the original AMOLED brightness range and color profile.
Galaxy S10 and every newer Galaxy S model uses an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner mounted under the screen. After any screen swap, the sensor needs to be recalibrated to the new panel. Skip this step and fingerprint unlock fails. We always recalibrate.
Galaxy S8 through S22 used curved edge displays where the glass and OLED wrap around both sides of the phone. The curved replacement screens cost more and require precise alignment so touch response stays consistent at the very edges.
Galaxy Note 8 through Note 20 and Galaxy S22-S25 Ultra all support the S Pen stylus. The S Pen uses a digitizer layer built into the screen that detects pressure and tilt. After a screen replacement, we test the S Pen with pressure sensitivity to confirm the digitizer is paired correctly.
Foldable phones are unique to Samsung in the US market. They have repair considerations no other phone has.
The Galaxy Z Flip is a clamshell foldable. When folded, you see the small outer cover display. When opened, you see the large inner flexible OLED. Either can break independently. Outer cover repair runs $119 to $189. Inner foldable display repair runs $289 to $399.
Galaxy Z Fold opens book-style from a phone size into a small tablet. The outer cover display is the size of a regular phone. The inner foldable display is tablet-sized. Outer cover repair runs $179 to $259. Inner foldable display is $399 to $499.
Both Z Flip and Z Fold have hinges with hundreds of moving parts. Screen replacement requires opening the phone without disturbing the hinge alignment. We use a separate clean bench for foldable work because dust trapped under the inner display causes permanent marks.
The most visible sign. Spider-web cracks usually start from a corner impact and spread. Get it fixed soon — cracks let water in and can spread further during normal use.
AMOLED panels show damage as color blooms or tints rather than dead pixels. Pink and green blooms usually mean a pixel layer is failing or the OLED was bruised in a drop. Replacement is needed.
You used to unlock with your thumb in one second. Now it takes five tries. Or it fails completely. Could be a screen-level digitizer issue, software glitch, or sensor problem. We test all three during the free diagnostic.
Certain areas of the screen do not respond to touch. The digitizer layer underneath the glass is torn. Full screen replacement is needed — no other fix works.
